The technology is something that we use in our everyday life. As time passes and heads to the future it will develop more. In the reading “Technological Ethics in a different voice.” Borgmann is hoping that we will use more technology support in our lives in the future. Then our lives will be more enhanced than before. However, it is important to remember the role of ordinary life like a tradition or something that is valuable and meaningful.

In the TED Talk video about the rise of personal robots by Cynthia Breazeal, there were many interesting stories about robots. The first social robot she introduced was a robot called the Kismet and this robot can interact with people. Also, she thinks robots are social technology and it can control and read human behavior. Later in the video, she talked about how robots can be developed in communication and health areas. During this pandemic, it is hard to visit our grandparents or other families. If there was a robot for a communication robot with a movement it will feel like visiting them in a person.

For me robots seem like a far future to me, talking and thinking technology sounds a little scary. However, if these robots become successful and live with us in the future they will become a great family member and takes care of family members health.
